David S. Hermansen, PA-C
David S. Hermansen, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant who specializes in acute and chronic orthopedic conditions of the upper and lower extremities. He also has specialized training in ultrasound-guided evaluation and injection techniques. He works very closely with Dr. Jed May, in the clinic, and assists Dr. May with various orthopedic surgeries including hip and knee replacement surgeries.
David is more than happy seeing patients for any orthopedic need they may have. He has special interest in continually learning and improving his orthopedic knowledge in order to better educate his patients and improve patient outcomes.
David earned his bachelor's degree from Utah State University and then earned a Masters of Medical Sciences degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University. He has extensive experience working as a physician assistant in an orthopedic setting, caring for both pediatric and adult patients with acute and chronic orthopedic conditions. He also has experience working in family medicine caring for the uninsured. David also enjoys studying martial arts, golf, racquetball, basketball, billiards, hiking, and camping.
