Jason S. Phillips, PA-C

Jason Sea Phillips, PA-C is a certified physician assistant who works closely with Dr. Jedediah May, assisting him in clinic and during surgeries, providing adult reconstruction and orthopedic trauma services to the patients of the Magic Valley and surrounding regions. He has special interest in wilderness medicine and is working toward becoming a fellow in the Academy of Wilderness Medicine through the Wilderness Medicine Society. 

Jason is currently an adjunct faculty member and clinical instructor at Midwestern University. He is a fellow of both the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery.  

Originally from Detroit, Jason is a veteran of the United States Army where he was trained as a medic as well as an orthopedic technologist. He received his bachelor's degree in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology from the University of California at Santa Cruz and earned a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Midwestern University.  

In his free time, Jason enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and mixed martial arts.
